A safe childhood on West Funen – space to grow and learn

The ladybird in the flower bed, the first bike ride, the primary school teacher... Childhood memories are often about adventures, summer days, and the adults who shape our lives. It's the same in West Funen.
Here, there's space and energy to be a family and discover the world together. There's time to watch the carrots sprout in the vegetable patch or go on a bike ride as a family.
In our childcare facilities and schools, there are dedicated educators and teachers with a high level of expertise. They challenge the children academically and create a safe environment for them to explore the world.
And when the young ones eventually leave the nest, they will be carrying a backpack full of fond memories, strong academic skills, and lifelong friendships.

Daycare Services
On West Funen, you will find excellent daycare services for your children. Caring adults are attentive and focused on each individual child.
Home-based daycare provides a safe and nurturing environment for the first, most important years of your child’s life. With a strong emphasis on professional development, many childminders are certified in DGI or Mindfulness.
If a nursery better suits your child and family needs, you can choose from both public and private nurseries.
In kindergartens, children experience a broader view of the world. Many facilities have animals that the children help care for. All kindergartens also offer large outdoor areas where children can play and explore throughout the year.
So, expect dirty hands and rosy cheeks when picking up your children!
