Sea Views and Open Skies

Thorøhuse is the perfect location for those who enjoy the tranquillity of coastal life. This former fishing village is situated along the shoreline near Assens, known for its narrow, winding streets and tightly packed houses, creating a unique charm.

Thorøhuse was home to the famous composer Jacob Gade, known for "Tango Jalousie," who lived here from 1943 until his death in 1963. It’s easy to see why he chose this peaceful and inspiring location.

The village offers a strong sense of community, with many social events held at Thorøhuse Community Hall, which overlooks the water and the untouched Thorø Peninsula in Little Belt.
