Forest, Beach, and Strong Community Ties

North of Assens, you’ll find Salbrovad, Sandager, and Barløse, located near forests and beaches in stunning natural surroundings. They embody a diverse cluster of villages with strong community bonds.

Much of the local activity revolves around the Landsbyordning in Salbrovad, which includes a nursery, school, and after-school programme, as well as Salbrovadhallen, a unique result of extensive volunteer commitment. The Parish Council also supports many traditions, such as Santa Claus riding through the village in a horse-drawn carriage at Christmas, handing out gifts to all the children.

If you enjoy outdoor activities, you can visit the beach, take a walk along Tingstien from Sandager to Smejrup and play golf in Barløse.
